I'd say that there is inner peace--a deep sense of serenity that comes from an awareness of one's eternal presence and connection with all life. I'd say that from this inner peace--external peace is created. So, what does external peace look like on a global scale? Is it a world with no poverty, pollution, extreme violence and disease? I can imagine that...indeed, I can imagine us ending all poverty, pollution, extreme violence and disease on our planet. I envision us healing the sickness that we label as "Evil". Yet, I can't imagine us living without any challenges...to me, that would be boring. So, as our connection with inner peace allows us to create external peace---how shall we continue to challenge ourselves? Will we be able to define and appreciate the present, without having to repeat the painful cycles of the past? How will we honor the painful experiences of the past without creating them again?

Will we use sports (even playful violence such as martial arts) to express and celebrate our aggressive sides in a healthy/balanced way? What are the most entertaining ways that we will celebrate peace? What stronger feelings of JOY will the human family share? Will we seek to fuse our deepest love with the creation of new life enhancing technologies? How far will our technologies advance? Will we strive for a deeper and deeper understanding of the universe? How deep will our understanding be? What greater levels of humor will our collective consciousness reveal to us (I'm especially curious about this question! :) )?

What grander levels of appreciation will we experience? How will our relationship with the universe expand? How great will we be at exploring and celebrating the story of our human family, and furthermore--the universal family of life? Will the experience of external world peace lead to the experience of external universal peace? Will our religious traditions learn to evolve just as science does? Will we perceive God to be the Oneness of all that is seen and unseen? Will we know each of us to be a unique individual expression of the Oneness and SIMULTANEOUSLY the Oneness in it's totality? Will we honor all individual levels/experiences of awareness?

Finally..what other questions shall we ask? And, what answers/ideas might YOU want to share?

In Gratitude and Oneness,
Yaron

Thank you Yaron:)
I believe in peace...and the people on here like you holding up a vision that acts.

You sure have presented a lot of interesting questions. Something I took away from the first half was that we will need to find a way to channel our aggressions. Firstly I'd like to point out that martial arts isn't playful violence as much as it's a highly-involved discipline, discipline being something that we will absolutely need in order control our more violent instincts. I find it funny that we refer to the human race as "civilized" when in fact most human beings tend to give into their animal instincts, and individuals are very quick to "follow the herd". We need to generate a consensus that peaceful interaction is the best policy, and we need to reduce competition between all the countries of the world. We're all so involved with being on the top that we're willing to step on the rights of and neglect the rest of the world. My version of peace is simply a world without competition, and in its place, cooperation. You spoke briefly about technology, and imagine the technological and social advances we could make if the entire world pooled its resources. You also talked about accepting God, and I'd like to point out that religion it one of the most divisive aspects of human civilization. In order to have peace we need to be tolerant of all religious views, or lack thereof. Personally, I am an atheist, and there's no convincing me otherwise, but I have lived happily alongside people of various religions my entire life.

I am of the mind that the arts are an amazing way to celebrate peace and oneness with all that is. Art in any form and any medium. Also, from childhood, working and learning towards what YOU as in the individual is interested and drawn towards, and building from that. Many people have many ideas and many different paths to take, and the more that are true to themselves, the wider our different and same truth will be spread. I do believe, though, that there will be a day when the challenges we will crave are no less than positive and expanding.

Thanks for asking thought invoking questions, this was fun to answer. Though no description can encompass the word peace perfectly, it can be felt, and is indeed an amazing feeling :)

I don't really know what to ask - I am enjoying it so much, just being here, getting in touch with more and more like-minded people, seeing more and more goodness coming out in the world, give me the high.

Well, now I am a bit more composed, I was wildly joyful when I found this site. :) - that's me.
Anyway, what I can say is just keep being focus and at one (as individuals) then all the answer will just come. I often say "When we are at one, everything for the better will just happen."
